Custom Weapons Menu Fix
We have loaded the Modern & WWII Weapons Mods by KENNITHH onto our servers for about a month now. However, some players have reported an issue with the Custom Guns Menu/Mods not working sometimes or only partially working. The menu simply doesn’t show at times. We have been informed of the following:
The issue is related to a game/mod kit bug and will be fixed in the next update. Thankfully, there is a workaround.
THE WORKAROUND
The bug mostly only happens if you open the buy menu too fast, so not instantly opening the buy menu when connecting to a server might help (like waiting a couple of seconds before opening the menu). Additionally, leaving the match and immediately re-joining and waiting a bit before opening the menu also helps if you are already facing the issue.
CLEAN YOUR MODS AND MAP CACHE
If the above still doesn’t work for you, then doing the following to clean up the mods and maps cache might help:
That clears up your Mod and Map Cache. It looks like sometimes it gets corrupted somehow when people play on different servers with different mod variations.
Doing the above will cause Pavlov to redownload all your custom mods and maps once you attempt to play them again.
