A new version of Windows Live Messenger has leaked to the web, version 8.5, some of the changes noticeable on this version are the following:
_ New interface: Windows Live Messenger 8.5 presents a GUI clearly influenced by Windows Vista.
_ A new installer: program which invites you to try other Windows Live services such as Windows Live Search or the Windows Live Toolbar.
_ Strengthen security: Windows Live Messenger has started to integrate with Windows Live One Care.

I have Vista and I can’t sign in. This sucks!
WLM 8.5 BETA does works. I don’t know about other OS but it does works on Vista Home Premium. However, i don’t know why but you will only be able to sign in from the computer that you frist signed in when you installed WLM 8.5 BETA. U can’t sign in anywhere else with versions before or this version itself on another computer. It will say something about can’t load the contacts.
